Story
In May 2011, I will be taking part in one of the UK's toughest challenges, THE FORCES MARCH. It was created to unite civilians with personnel from the military and emergency services to raise vital funds for the care and support of UK armed forces heroes and forces families. THE FORCES MARCH retraces the legendary route taken by the 6th Airborne Division in 1942, as part of their early training for D-Day.
I will be running/walking at least 26.2 miles a day on five consecutive days; starting in Ilfracombe, North Devon on Wednesday 25th May, passing through Exmoor, the Quantocks, Somerset and much of Salisbury Plain, finishing at The Forces Festival in Bulford, Wiltshire on Sunday 29th May.
Please help me to achieve this huge task by donating whatever you can to PROJECT 65 - The Veterans Charity. A charity that provides support for the people who fought to protect our country, so that we and our children can live in the place that it is today. The money that Project 65 raise is shared between many beneficiaries including The Army Benevolent Fund, BLESMA, Help for Heroes, The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, St Dunstan's, The Royal British Legion and The Royal Navy Benevolent Trust.
