We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

With our previous event unfortunately cancelled, Swifty Sanchez decided it was an opportunity to tackle something even more challenging.

So, on 14th September Duncan, Will, Rupert and Andy are pulling on the lycra to take part in the Classic South Downs Cyclosportive, described by the organizers as a "155k road challenge event that takes in the best road climbs the South Downs has to offer" and by us novices as "possibly the worst Sunday ever".

We are doing the race to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity.

Prostate cancer kills as many people as breast cancer, yet it receives only a quarter of the funding. The number of men getting prostate cancer is growing fast: over the next 25 years it is estimated that there will be a 60% increase in the number of men aged over 65 who will have it.

We are experiencing the impact of prostate cancer first hand with two out of four of our team members having a close family member recently diagnosed with the disease.

Please help us to raise awareness and funding for The Prostate Cancer Charity by supporting us on our epic day out and give generously.

Please also forward on this link to family and friends.

Thank you
