TIME FOR HEROES - 1ST-31ST OCTOBER 2013

Fancy having your own house band for the night?  Next month, you can - as part of this year's Oxjam Music Festival, you could have your very own live band playing in your front room for charity..

Following the success of last year's Living Room Legends series, where local bands played gigs in their own homes, this year WE ARE COMING TO YOU. 

For the whole month of October, Dundee Jam will personally bring the heart of the Dundee music scene to play IN YOUR HOME no matter where you live. North, South, East or West.. tenement, bedsit, student hall, flatshare, family home.. or even your shed, garage, garden, treehouse or allotment.  Gigs can be unplugged, acoustic affairs, or fully-plugged in live experiences, depending on location and the wishes of the host.

Dundee bands / solo acts signed up to play so far include top names such as Scary People, Vladimir, The Mirror Trap, esperi and Model Aeroplanes, all fresh from playing major festivals this year.  They are joined by The Shithawks, Shoogar, Hookers For Jesus, Billy Mitchell, Yoko Pwno, Little Anchors, Blood Indians, Gone Wishing, Strangers Almanac, Excellent Cadaver, The Onion Club, The Jagged Violet, Sean McGouldrick, KillingFloor and Duncan, Doherty, Campbell and Quinn Present The Orc Mischief. 

More names will be added to the list as the month progresses and acts will be allocated hosts by the end of September.

All you need to do is invite your family, friends and neighbours in for a donation (big or small).. and listen.
