Story
The early hours of Sunday the 28th of November 2010 saw one of the worst storms to hit Dundee in recent years.
This was no ordinary storm but involved snow as the main precipitation.
A facebook page was started to pull together all of Dundee's survivors. This was started and always intended as a joke and its brilliant to see how many people have enjoyed it. However, it is important to remember that each year, many of the elderly are taken victim by this cold weather as many cannot afford to heat their homes. Earlier this year, many older people were found to be purchasing second hand books as they were cheaper to burn than coal.
AgeUK's latest campaign 'spread the warmth' aims to help those elderly to whom a heated house has become a luxury.
if each fan of the page donated just £1 to AgeUK, we could ensure a large number of the elderly stay warm this winter.
