Event: Bupa Great Manchester Run 2014, on 18 May 2014
We provide specialist hospice care to children with life-limiting conditions.

Story

Throughout 2014 e-foods is supporting Grace’s Place, a new charity based in north Manchester that is raising money to transform the old Bury Hospice site into a unique sanctuary for children and their families.

Grace’s Place will offer specialist care for children suffering from cancers, neurological illnesses, genetic illness and mental and physical disabilities.

Proposed facilities include:
  • dedicated bedrooms with washing facilities for patients and a family member
  • an emergency inpatient bedroom
  • a multi-function social room for group therapies planned activities and play
  • a dedicated sensory room
  • a physiotherapy room
  • a fully assisted patient bathroom
  • a hydrotherapy pool
  • complementary therapy rooms
  • a family support room
  • carer support services and a 24 hour dedicated advice line.

In order to make Grace’s Place a reality £1 million needs to be raised so please support us.
