Following the recent sad loss of a great villager, Mike Rose, and in memory of him and all the other good people of Easton on the Hill whom we have lost to cancer, a number of us (12 so far) are getting together to run in the 2009 Great Eastern Run, a.k.a. the Peterborough Half Marathon, on October 11th. We are asking villagers who don't run to help those who do by directing their friends to this site to sponsor us as a team. We hope that by harnessing the goodwill of the whole village and via  team approach we can raise a significant sum to help beat cancer.
