No doubt you've fallen off your chair by now, but it's true, Ed has finally taken the plunge and signed up for a 10k run.

It's not all for personal pride and glory, however. I'm raising money for St Dunstan's, a charity for blind ex-servicemen that my Dad works for. It's a worthy cause, and reason enough for my legs to (hopefully) carry me through the streets of London.

So roll up, cough up - I would be grateful for any donation, large or small.
