Having served 31 years as a regular soldier I am fully aware of the vital part Headly court has played in the recovery of hundreds of wounded servicemen and women. The need for this rehabilitation centre continues and is arguably more important now than at any other time.

Four years ago I cycled from Lands End to John o Groats and managed to raise £3400 for charity. This time I thought I would have a go at it from the other end and hopefully beat the previous total.The ride will be solo and unsupported, I will start  from John o Groats on 2nd Sep 09 and hope to complete the journey in 16 days.
