In early July 2010, several intrepid explorers will be taking on the longest walks of the Lake District to raise money in memory of Ben Edkins.

Ben sadly passed away aged just 25 in April 2010 after battling Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. 

Those of you who knew Ben will appreciate how brave and positive he was and how defiantly he fought this horrible disease, so please dig deep. 

All funds will go to the Sarcoma Trust who specialise in finding a cure for the cancer Ben suffered from. It's a great cause and very close to our hearts.

The group contains a mixture of volunteers. Most of us are unfit moaners so, for your personal amusement, we'll document the trip via pictures and video.

The gang currently consists of Laura Casewell (Ben's girlfriend), Ben's cousin Sarah Shenton, Chris Hine, Nicola Bailey, Sally Bolchover, Jacob James, Lauren Keep and Felicity Cross... more to be confirmed.

If anyone donates over £25 we'll take on any challenge/task while we're there and take pictures to prove it (keep it clean and not involving broken legs!!!)
