One of our Rugby Club Members son, Ashton Hayne, was diagnosed earlier this year with leukemia.  Ashton is being treated at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton, and his Mum and Dad had this to say....  "When we were given the news that Ashton had leukemia, we were absolutely devastated and the following days and weeks were very, very hard as we came to terms with Ashton's disease. All the staff at The Royal Marsden, from the Consultants, Doctors and Nurses, to the Housekeepers and Cooks were nothing short of fantastic. Their care and dedication to Ashton was world class.  They also supported us through care, understanding and education in coming to terms with our situation and coping over the coming months and years of Ashtons treatment.  We cannot thank them enough for all they have done and are doing."

The Royal Marsden must be able to continue their work in treating cancer, especially in Children and Teenagers, and we have therefore teamed up with a local pub to raise money for this very worthwhile cause. We will be playing a pre-season Charity Rugby match at our home ground in Kings Lane, Englefield Green.  All are welcome to come along and join in the fun of the day.
