I will be swimming 100 lengths in order to raise money for a brilliant charity that I believe to be very important to me and those around me due to the fact that our amazing and inspirational friend Kara is currently undergoing treatment to fight Leukemia.I feel this is the perfect opportunity to show our support and gratefulness to everyone that has contributed amazing amounts of time, effort, money & brain power to cure people of cancer & leukaemia.

I think everyone that has ever known Kara will agree that she is an absolutely amazing, selfless and beautiful person, and her friends will also agree that even from a hospital bed she is the best friend ever with so much positivity and never any complaints! If we can donate even just a small amount of money to help a charity that is beneficial to what she is going through then we might just be a tiny bit as amazing as she is :-)

I will also be swimming for David Self, Gideon Anthony & Denise Mutton. It is clear, even from just the names mentioned on this page, how many people are affected by Cancer & Leukaemia, and therefore it seems beneficial to everyone to try and play a part, no matter how small, in trying to fight the disease.
