Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In sufferers, Rheumatoid Arthritis makes the immune system attack the joints. However, the effects are not limited to the joints, with the blood vessels and the lining of the hear and lungs all at risk of inflammation. As my mother is suffering with this condition, we have first hand experience of how crippling this disease can be. With your help, I am hoping to raise at least £1000 by running the Great North Run. It's been 20 years since I ran my last 1/2 marathon, so wish me luck!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
