There were seven of us (Christopher Millard, Charlotte Penton-Smith, James Cornewall-Walker, John Shaddock, Rob Shaddock, Zoe Cobden-Jewitt and me) participating for Macmillan, the charity chosen by the Royal Opera House's Staff & Artists' Charity Project Group to support for 2007-9.
However, as most of you know, Rob pulled out a month ago with an injury, and now I've had to back down at the last minute for health reasons. BUT I am transferring all my fundraising and support across to do the Edinburgh Marathon instead, on Sunday 25th May. So I will be worthy of your fantastic donations and you will still be able to laugh in amazement at my mind-boggling attempts to be sporty.
It would be lovely if you still felt like sponsoring me and help make a difference for people with cancer. Donating through this site could not be easier. It is fast, totally secure and the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money swiftly and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 25% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Once you've sponsored me, don't forget to watch the rest of the Team from the Royal Opera House on telly on Sunday 13th April - I know I will be! - to see if you can spot them all, and get that warm making-a-difference feeling!
Thanks heaps
lots of love, Els xxxx
