Story

We're doing it again!

On 26th April, Mark and Emily are taking part in the St.George's Curry Run in aid of ABF the Soliders Charity.

Emily is running 4km, which represents 10m for each solider killed in Afghanistan since 2001. Mark is attempting 25.8km, which represents 10m for each of the 2,500+ servicemen killed or wounded in action. They are each running in memory of individual soldiers.

Emily is running in memory of Lt Mark Evison of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards. He was shot in the shoulder at a checkpoint in Helmand on 9 May 2009 and later died from his injuries. His family said the 26-year-old was "charismatic, caring and  optimistic". His commanding officer said Lt Evison was a natural leader nicknamed "007" because of his capability and style.

Mark is running in memory of Royal Marine David Fairbrother, aged 24, from Blackburn, Lancashire, who was shot and killed while out on patrol on 19 September 2011 in Helmand province

You all supported us last year, and we would be really grateful if you would donate again, which would really help us with our training and the run itself.
