I have hypermobility type ehlers danlos syndrome. This for me and many others is a debilitating condition. I suffer multiple subluxations and dislocations daily and can't remember a day when I weren't in pain. This is a condition which often goes undiagnosed for many years and the result of a late diagnosis is often damage to the joints and ligaments which may have been avoided if a diagnosis had come sooner. Much more research into ehlers danlos syndrome needs to be done and so I will be taking part in a 24 hour silence from 8am on the 3rd of May until 8am on the 4th of May to raise money for the Ehlers Danlos Support Group
