Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the Portsmouth Half Marathon (that is a whole 13 miles!) on February 13th 2011 to raise money for the Brain Research Trust.
The reason that I am doing this is because I recently lost my mum to a berry aneurysm/ subarachnoid haemorrhage. This event came totally out of the blue and when, shortly before she passed away, the symptoms presented themselves she didn't think there was anything seriously wrong and so never sought help.
By taking part in the Portsmouth half marathon and raising money for the BRT I hope it will help prevent what happened to my mum happening to others and so other families, like mine, do not have to go through this heartache.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my page and any donations made I am sure will help the BRT immensely.
