thanks for taking the time to look on my fundraising site!! Basically I am doing this marathon for my cousin. At the age of 18 months he was diagnosed with meningitis. Robert is now 22 years old, and has been moved to a home. It's so sad visiting him as he has so much to say and is such a personality but unfortunately he will never be able to look after himself. Robert suffers from regular epileptic fits every day and needs so much medical attention.

If enough money is raised for meningitis research then people could come out of meningitis without any of the problems Robert has suffered from.

I'm running this marathon to help in the fight to solve the huge problem of meningitis which affects 3000 people every year in the UK and Ireland, a tenth of which don't survive it.
