I am running the London marathon this year for Breakthrough Breast Cancer in memory of my mum Bridget who died in March 2007. She was the loveliest, most generous person who was always thinking of others. She even raised money for Breakthrough by completing an eight-mile sponsored walk despite the cancer having spread to her bones. I think about her every day and wish I could talk to her and hear her voice. I want to continue her legacy of raising money for a charity she believed in and make a small contribution to help in the fight against this terrible disease. So I'm calling on you to be as generous as you can... I need every penny I can get, especially as I'm not the fittest person in the world!!
