Hello I'm Emma Gray, i'm 25 years old and i'm running (or attempting to
run) the BUPA Great North Run for the first time this year, 2008. I hoped to complete last years run but found out having an 8 week old daughter and trying to train just wasn't going to happen. The main reason i'm running this years run is for my beloved late grandfather, William Gray, it was a dream of his to watch me run the Great North Run but unfortunately he won't be here to watch me. I know he will be there to help me on my way and hopefully be there when i need him the most (the finish line!!).
