I decided to raise as much as I can for the Prostate Cancer Charity because there seems to be a total lack of awareness about prostate cancer. I also nearly lost a very dear friend to prostate cancer towards the end of last year. The support from the Prostate Cancer Charity was amazing so this is my way of giving something back. It's also good to do something for the men for a change!!

This is a photo of me taken towards the end of the Fradley 10K run which took place the beginning of March. It was snowing and freezing cold but I managed to survive somehow, I'm not keen on running when it's really cold but luckily the warmer weather is coming now!!

Well I managed to complete the marathon although my foot did pack up at the 20 mile mark. The nice people at St. John's managed to give me enough painkillers to make it to the end in a time of 5 hours 22 mins! Oh well, I guess I can only get quicker next time and I was determined to complete the race for my charity! Thanks again to all those who have sponsored me!!
