Story

Hi all

On 24 March 2008, I will be setting off to China for a week of trekking along the Great Wall of China.  We will be trekking for 7 hours a day along some of the most inhospitable parts of the Wall (ie the crumbly bits) without the luxury of a comfy bed, duvet and shower at the end of the day!

In order to take part in the trek I need to raise a minimum sponsorship.  I will be contributing a portion of this myself to cover the cost of the trip, ensuring that the donations I collect go directly to the charity.

'Help a London Child' aims to help disadvantaged, homeless, disabled and sick children in the capital by contributing to numerous smaller charities.  This means that all of the money raised really does make a difference to someones life.

I hope that you will support me with this, I think it is a really worthy cause and I will certainly be putting in the effort over the week!!!

Thanks all, I really really appreciate your help.

Emma
