Hello. Thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page. For some extraordinary reason I have found myself signed up to cycle from London to Brighton on Sunday 15th June. It's a bit mad as my lovely family are going by car, there is a perfectly good train service and just pumping up the tyres normally tires me out. Nevertheless I am going to set the satnav for Brighton Pier and hope for a strong following wind.
Whilst peddling like fury and dreaming of a celebratory ice cream, I would like to raise a bit of money for something that matters a lot to me. Our first daughter Maisy died in 2000 aged just 10 weeks. She was a perfect little girl and she died suddenly and unexpectedly. She was a cot death baby. We think about her every day, and she is still a very important part of our family. The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths has been a great support to me over the last few years and I thought I would like to raise a little money for them.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
I would be so grateful if you felt able to sponsor me.
