Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

          This is not another sponsor form. It is very simply a request for a donation to my chosen charity  The British Heart Foundation.   In return I intend to cycle from  John O’Groats to Lands End, 1200 miles, on my own.  Everything is carried on the bike in 5 panniers, including a tent and survival gear.  I will need to average around 55 miles a day, with a day’s rest  at Fort William where I hope to climb  Ben Nevis,  weather permitting.  Not every day will be sunny and dry and the roads are rarely flat. There will be hills in abundance so the occasional walk will be necessary.  Phew!! you might think me daft, mad or wish me good  luck for trying.  Imagine how I feel, my heart rate increases just thinking about it.  At my young age it is a serious effort and I do feel fortunate to be in a position  to even consider attempting the  End to End ride and in doing so I want to support this great charity, which has helped so many people.
