My goodness, how can anyone have a jump cancelled quite so many times??  Mind you Great British Weather, says it all really!!  Well I thought I would be lucky third time round but once again the weather really wasn't playing!!  I was begging to think someone might be trying to tell us something after the 2nd cancellation let alone the 3rd.  Watch this space as if you don't hear me jump out of the bloody plane, I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.  As most of you are aware, my best friend Kirsty suddenly lost her partner Nev last year, and many others including myself lost a wonderful friend.  We are both doing a 10,000 feet Tamdem Skydive to raise money for CRY on Saturday 10th August 2008. Heart disease is not just a problem associated with old age; it kills upto 8 young people every week in the uk.  By providing easy access to heart screening and professional support , it can significantly help to reduce the number of avoidable deaths.

CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS), as well as campaigning and lobbying, cry also provide a subsidised screening programme for young people (under 35), and provide counselling support to bereaved families and individuals who may be diagnosed.

Screening needs to be extended to many more young people, in other european countries children are screened at the age of 14.  Everyone is potentially at risk and the only accurate means of diagnosis is through an ECG test.

Please help me to raise awareness for our future, our children and grandchildren.  Lets try and reduce the number of lives taken on a weekly basis!!
