Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Chunk, Dan and Esther will be cycling fromLand’s End to John O’Groats this September a distance of 1000 miles over a 12 day period something we are sure we would not be able to achieve without our fourth team member and support driver Alice. A challenge borne out of  New Year’s Eve champagne fuelled discussion has taken some 9 months to prepare for and the four of us must get to the end despite Esther’s tantrums!

Anyway we are assured it should be fun at some point! The good news is that we are doing this for an epic charity in Brain Tumour Research who are determined to raise public awareness of the disease and the need to research it further. On a personal note

I am doing this challenge in memory of my close friend Sue's father who offered so much to so many people. Visit http://www.wayahead-btrc.org/ for more infomration on the charity!

Any donation you can give will be much appreciated and please do contact me if you fancy a day on your bike with us on route - it would be great to see you!

Many thanks Esther

About the charity

BTRC works with a Neurosciences team at Charing Cross and Hammersmith Hospitals (Imperial College London) to promote research into the causes of brain tumours and possible new treatments, to raise public awareness of the desperate need for this research and the current lack of funding.
