RBC Race for the Kids 2019 · 12 October 2019 ·

Join us at our family festival and 5k fun run. Run, jog, walk or wheel our 5k family fun run and give seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital the chance of a better future.

Story

Our son is currently in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit having being diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy in August 2019. He is only 6 months old. Ethan's Mummy, Daddy and sisters are taking part in the family run for him.

Ethan is currently on the urgent heart transplant and we want to raise awareness of the importance of passing it on, with his dad having just had a heart transplant in January 2019.

Please let this inspire you to donate because without GOSH we wouldn't have Ethan here today, we wouldn't have had their support and we wouldn't have been able to stay in the accommodation they've provided to allow us to be with him everyday!

RBC Race for the Kids for the seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Every day bring new challenges at GOSH.

Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive. The money raised from RBC Race for the Kids will help to fund ground-breaking research; advanced equipment; child and family support services and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities.Over the last 10 years RBC Race for the Kids has raised an incredible £5 million for the hospital. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity are hoping to raise £1 million from this year’s event. With your support we can get there.
