Story

As many of you know, I have been raising money for St. David's Care in the Community for the past 5 years.  The charity was set up more than 30 years ago by two amazing woman and its aim is to ensure that people with severe learning difficulties live together in a safe and caring environment and lead as normal an adult life as possible. Due to limited government funding the charity relies on donations to meet ever increasing needs.  We are hoping to raise as much money as we can to support this wonderful cause.

Nine exceptional people will be joining me leaving for on the 3rd October.  We will then be flying to Lukla where the trek begins. Everyone has trained so hard for the trip and Dr Raj who took the celebs to Kilamjaro for Red Nose Day is leading the trek so we are in very safe hands.  For my part I managed to damage my knee quite early on in my training however a chair is standing by to ensure I make it to the top!! A friend has also pledged an extra £200 if I wear my pearls all the way!!!

I would be so grateful for any amount you are able to give.  While we have set ourselves a group target of £50,000 all monies raised will make such a huge difference to such a deserving and loving group of people.

Thank you so much for your support.

With much appreciation, love and  thanks
