Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
We are supporting the Institute of Human Genetics at Newcastle University at the Centre for Life, a charity that supports those suffering from Muscular Dystrophy.
On 3 May 2009, we plan to swim 10 kilometres EACH. That's 400 lengths of the swimming pool at Ampleforth College.
We ask for your support. Through Face-Faw, the Ampleforth College charity organisation, we wish to support sufferers of Muscular Dystrophy. Sponsorship of us on this site will come to Ampleforth Abbey Trust and through them, Face-Faw at Ampleforth - to be sent for the support of Centre for Life and sufferers of Muscular Dystrophy. At the special request of Shona Fletcher we will be giving a quarter of what we collectively raise to Cancer Research UK.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Ampleforth Abbey/Face-Faw receives your sponsorship money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Face-Faw will then pass these funds on your behalf to Centre for Life
Please give generously,
Many Thanks,
Matthew Burkinshaw, Tom Dales, Bryan Cheng and Shona Fletcher
