Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This week Captain Hudson along with Charlie Amesbury and Joe Graham tanned up. After a lengthy process Huddo developed into an individual gold trophy look-a-like, Charlie an extra from  baywatch and Joe Graham going for the fell-in-a-puddle effect. With the gallon of tan donated by St.Tropez under serious threat there's only 8 days left of Glovember and just 3 more tans. PLEASE donate to St. Oswald's Hospice to show your appreciation of these fantastic glowers - they have recieved a severe amount of stick!!

The lastest tanners pictures are now here for all to see! Alex Tait, Darren Fearn and Jeremy Manning are now glowing all over town, with the latter two going for the contraversial "3 coat" approach to ensure a level of colour a St. Tropez body builder would be proud of! Alex, on the other hand, decided the "just out of the pit" look was more appropriate!! PLEASE don't let these efforts be in vain and donate to such a great cause.

Newcastle Falcons  players led by Rob Vickerman will volunteer to have spray tans courtesy of Body Beautiful Clinic in Crawcrook, Ryton. Three players per week for the month of November will make the ultimate sacrifice and risk ridicule in the changing rooms to tan to  raise money for their chosen charity, St. Oswald’s Hospice.

The first tans took place at the Ryton-based salon  with Matt Thompson, Tom Catterick and Kieron Brookes amongst  the first “victims”. Dice are thrown to determine the level of risk the players are taking, with the one with the highest number getting the darkest. They range from a splash of colour to a life in willy wonka's factory.

Next batch of players are scheduled to roll for their fake tan fate are Jeremy Manning, Darren Fearn and Alex Tait. Pictures will be up on the site as soon as the Tans are set in. Credit must be shown to Keiron Brookes for being the most healthy looking prop on the pitch last Friday night!

The Glowers are hoping that fans will donate as much or little as they can afford to show your support for their fundraising activities. We are going to look stupid...really stupid...so everytime you laugh at one of us, give us a couple of quid,  It could make a big difference to someone's life.

Thanks very much

Rob and the Glowers.
