Story

The Quilter Foundation

Quilter believes a company’s value goes beyond making a profit. That’s why we launched The Quilter Foundation in 2018 to support the many thousands of young people in our communities who live with daily social and domestic challenges; helping them to overcome barriers to prosperity. We do this by building partnerships that improve educational outcomes, employment prospects and individual health and well-being.

Funds raised will be donated to our principle partner for the next 3 years – Carers Trust – to provide immediate relief and personal development opportunities for young carers, aged 16-25, in our communities. Today, there are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK looking after loved ones with disabilities, long-term illneses, mental health issues or addiction problems. Because of their caring duties, young carers often feel isolated, anxious and depressed. Working in partnership with Carers Trust our campaign will give young carers the chance of
a brighter future.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
