Story

Seeing this is the year I turn Forty the time has come to shed the excess baggage and so my diet is to begin!!

I am going for a weigh in this Wednesday and will from then on post my weekly weight loss (hopefully) for everyone’s amusement!

Following the first weigh in I will set my target weight/weight loss for all to see (probably 5 -6 stone over 12 months) and you can chart my progress.

I intend to do this for charity - 50/50 MS Trust and Breakthrough breast cancer charity (please see www.justgiving.com/fatmangetsthinMSTrust MSTrust if you would like your sponsorship to go to the MS Trust).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: MS Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Your support, encouragement, disparaging remarks and general mickey taking are all welcome as is everyone’s efforts to keep me on the straight and narrow!! Just to reassure you all I am allowed one treat and that is a drink on Saints home game match days IF I have had a weight loss that week !

Hope you will all support me in this and just to let e-bay know I will have some boxers for sale in December can be used as family sized tent!!

Please keep an eye on this page for before and after photos so you can monitor my progress!

PLEASE SEND MY JUSTGIVING ADDRESS ON TO ANYONE YOU THINK WOULD LIKE TO SPONSOR A FAT MAN GETTING THIN.

Thanks to all,

Greg.
