Ambitious about Autism is the National Charity for autistic children and young people championing their rights and creating opportunities. They stand with autistic children and young people by providing services, raising awareness, understanding and by campaigning for change.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.  This is a picture of our nephew Oliver, who is severely autistic.  For 18 months he's been at a wonderful school for children and young adults, run by TreeHouse, the national charity for autism education.  Now six, Oliver is learning basic life skills.  He is much happier and life for his family is much easier.

We are raising funds so TreeHouse can help more autistic children and their families.  We joined the TreeHouse team in a 40km fund-raising walk in the South Downs on 9 May 2009 and people have been amazingly generous in their sponsorship.  We are now hoping we will make it into five figures.  It would be great if you help nudge us over that line.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  It’s also efficient: TreeHouse gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.  We hope that will encourage you, as will the donations to date - so many generous contributions in the last few days that we've taken the liberty of increasing our target.  Thanks so much...
