Me....20ft of Red Hot Coals...20th November 2010!!

Across the UK there are over 175,000 people under the age of 18 caring for someone close to them who may have a physical or mental health problem or a drug or alcohol addiction which means they simply could not manage without this help. Carers' Resource, who I have chosen to support helps carers of any age across parts of North and West Yorkshire by offering information, advice and support to them in their caring role. To celebrate their anniversary, I am embarking on a Firewalk to raise money for this wonderful charity.

There is something inspirational about being a Carer at any age...but ultimately, Young Carers are in a league of their own! These young people deal with difficult challenges every day... so as one Young Carer once said to me " Don't be a wimp Fiona" I thought I would embrace the challenge and Walk on Fire!!!! 

This is for all the Young Carers who inspire my world every single day! 

 I have put a relatively modest target for my fundraising but if anyone can help me meet then beat it I will be very grateful....I'm scared of fire!
