We support individuals, families, and groups with complex health and social care needs, often due to disability, dementia, autism or mental ill health. The support we and our dogs provide enables them to better access the world around them.

Story

Now is your chance to help make a difference. My name is Steven Hen-Boisen and I am a vet at Vets4Pets in Wakefield and I have set out to make a difference and you can help me. I have organised a special fishing Safari in conjunction with Tim Baily, from The African Angler, in order to raise funds for this charity who receives no government funding and relies completely on the donations of the public and industry. I am organising a Sponsored Fishing Safari, which I have called 'Fish 4 Freedom'. The idea behind it is to sponsor me per pound of the weight of the biggest fish I catch while I am on my fishing safari. With the record fish being well over 200lb the potential to raise money is huge. However, if you are not that keen on uncertainly I would welcome any fixed amount donations as well.

I have been on 3 safari's in Egypt so far, but so far the monsters have evaded me with my personal record being 50lb, but hopefully this time because I will be fishing to bring people their freedom the monsters will be queuing up to help me on my way!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Dogs For The Disabled will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
