On 1st November Carolynn Hoy and Peter Jones, directors of Formula Kart Stars, set off on a mommoth charity cycling challenge from Lands End to John 'o' Groats. Their route covers some 1,000 miles, a good proportion of it in fairly extreme November weather.

Their aim is to reach John 'o' Groats by 21st November and raise as much as possible for their chosen charities. They will be joined at points en route, by Kart competitors from their championship to spur them on their way.
