This just giving page was originally set up to raise a contribution towards a grant application with Listed Places of Worship roof fund. Thanks to all our supporters we have successfully raised that money and the tower and nave roof work has been completed as at 10th Feb 2017.

As the church is the only community building in the Great Bolas area we now want to add a toilet and a tea bar so that the facilities will encourage people to use the church as a meeting/recreational facility. We also need to continue to raise funds to protect the building for the next generations to enjoy. The next major piece of work is re-pointing which will cost in the region of £30,000.

Every penny you give via this just giving page goes towards our funds to get the toilet, tea bar and the pointing work completed.

You may have wandered round this ancient church and have enjoyed the peace and rest of its atmosphere.

Did you think, as you looked at the font, of the many thousand children who have been admitted into the membership of the Church?

As you stood before the Lord’s table, were you one, in imagination, with those innumerable men and women who in every generation have here received Christ’ special blessing?

Our forefathers first built this church and then maintained it with care and devotion.
