Story

Thank you for visiting my MDS fundraising page for the 'Everyman' charity. Should you wish to sponsor me, please just click above to do so online it is quick and totally secure.

The 20th Marathon des Sables is now over and I am delighted to be back in merry England. The event was a great adventure during which a huge range of terrain was covered, it amounted to 246 km overall during 6 days of racing. The daily temparature averaged a wilting 44 degrees centigrade!

However, I managed to finish and collect my prized medal! I completed the course in 53 hrs 23 mins, coming in at 557th out of 800 participants. I like to think of it as slow, but steady!

Thank you for taking the trouble to visit my page.
