Story
Two years ago my dad, Nigel, suddenly and unexpectedly suffered a stroke which ended his life. We want to raise money for the Stroke Association to prevent tragedies like this, and save other people's loved ones. We will do this the best way we know - through food!
On 29th and 30th August we will be holding our 4th Forget Me Not Cafe at 45 Cannons Close, CM23 2BQ. We will be respecting all the COVID guidlines, and even offering takeaway meals for those who don't feel comfortable joining us in the garden. We will also, of course, be running our ever popular raffle with a myriad of wonderful prizes on offer. If you can make it, we would love to see you there, and if not you can offer your support through a donation on this page. Thank you!
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
