We provide support and resettlement to homeless people in Harrogate District

Story

Harrogate Homeless Project is an independent charity, established in 1991 to provide emergency accommodation for the homeless in the Harrogate district. We rely on donations as our statutory funding is not enough to cover our running costs. We are open 365 days a year and provide accommodation for up to 16 people, supporting them towards settled accommodation.

Our day service Springboard operates entirely on donations and we desperately need further funding to continue this service.  Springboard is open Mon-Fri 10.00am - 2.00pm and provides meals, showers, laundry facilities, support and advice to those who are homeless or vulnerably housed.

About the charity

The Harrogate Homeless Project is Harrogate district's only direct access hostel, providing emergency accommodation and support for homeless people. Only 13% of our running costs are met through statutory funding, so we constantly need to raise money in order to continue.
