Christian Aid Week 2021
Campaign by Christian Aid (RCN 1105851, SC039150)
Drought drives people to the brink. Storms tear families apart. Raging waters show no mercy. In Kenya the climate crisis has made weather more extreme, whether long drought or relentless rainstorms. Join us this Christian Aid Week (10th -16th) May!

Story

Each year the community at Southwark Cathedral raises money to support the work of Christian Aid.  We would normally be shaking tins and handing out envelopes but not for the past two years.  Covid has changed everything but not the needs of the poorest and not the crisis of climate change.  The effects of Covid and global warming hit the poorest communities disproportionately.  God has a passion for the poor and created the world so good, for each of his creatures to share.  Help us help them make a difference.

We work with churches, individuals and local organisations in communities worldwide, supporting people of all faiths and none to rise out of poverty. We help people survive disasters, deal with the impact of climate change, find shelter from conflict and have a voice in their communities.
