Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We're raising money in Memory of our wonderful son, Peter McFerran, who gave his life in Iraq in 2007. Peter was serving with 1 Squadron, RAF Regiment and was killed during an insurgent rocket attack.  Peter, alongside Matthew and Chris, were killed instantly.

In memory of Peter, we are raising money for the Neonatol Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital where Peter was born 40 years ago.  The Unit saved Peter's life at that time and, by supporting them in this way, we are saying "Thank You" to the staff (past and present) for giving us 24 wonderful years with Peter.

On 26th November 2022 (what would have been Peter's 40th birthday) Ann and a number of friends will be walking from Connah's Quay to The Countess of Chester Hospital Country Park along the cycle route - an 8 mile linear walk.

Please sponsor Ann and friends as we walk in Memory of Peter and help raise money to help more sick and tiny babies.

Thank you,                                                                                                            Ann & Bob McFerran

Just 10 days to go to our Annual Walk in Memory of Peter.  Not many walkers this year but we'll do our best and raise money for the Neonatal Unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital and remember Peter
