Story

Ok so I'm braving this with the help of a couple of glasses of wine.
I originally planned this walk with little explanation just that I was fundraising for a very worthy cause, which I am!
But.... 2 weeks ago after many appointments, tests, sleepless nights and being told twice by health professionals not to worry I was too young to have anything sinister!
I have been diagnosed with breast cancer, I have had a rocky few weeks a whirlwind of tests and scans and hospital visits but I am now starting to find the fight and sheer bloody mindedness that I will give this thing all I've got and beat it!!
I have 2 beautiful little girls that need there mummy, a husband who doesn't know where the washing machine is, the most supportive parents, family and friends anyone could ever ask for, I owe it to them all to kick this beast into touch!

Most of you will already know some may not but I ask for your support through this journey I have been put on and to either enroll on this walk or donate to my just giving page.
Thank you to everyone that has already shown there great support, it. would mean so much to me to achieve the target I set.
I will be in the middle of my treatment when the walk is scheduled for so it ain't going to be easy but with my team behind me I will do everything in my power to complete it!
Thank you all
Gemma
