Every once in a while I take on a personal challenge for no other reason than I like a bit of self inflicted suffering and if I can inspire people to part with their cash for a great cause, all's the better. This time round I have taken on the challenge of 'Everesting,' whereby I will try and ride up and down Hartside (380m) 23.3 times, or the height of Mt Everest (8,844m) in a day. 

I will be setting off early doors and expect it to take me between 16 and 18 hours. I will have friends riding with me who will supplying support and morale, but no pushes!

I am raising money for The Royal Marsden because they did an amazing job of treating a friend of mine and did not give up on him, even when the outlook became bleak. They are a world leader in Cancer diagnosis, treatment and research and I want them to continue their incredible work for other people and play their part in beating Cancer.
