I have decided to celebrate my 6 month sobriety birthday by signing up to climb the Ben Nevis!

After struggling with Alcoholism for years I finally managed to get the help I needed by attending residential rehab, not everyone has this opportunity and charities like Alcohol Concern are relied on for help. Unfortunately with the stigma attached to such illnesses, addiction charities tend to not get the support they so desperately need.

I want to raise awareness and help others to realise that suffering from addiction is nothig to be ashamed of, there is help out there and there is a way to live a happy sober life.
