The speed at which Meningitis made me ill was incredible. There was no rash, no obvious signs at all. The severity of it caused me to now be deaf and also caused a Stroke whose damage I am fighting hard every day.  I was lucky I got to hospital quickly, others are not so lucky and this disease has taken their lives within hours.  We need to find a way to identify and stop this killer.
