Fundraising for Spinal Research
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As you may know I have been working for The Injured Jockeys Fund for 5 years now and have witnessed some terrible injuries happen to good people, often very young aspiring athletes! Needless to say an injury to the spinal cord is life changing and some times even fatal!
I have had the privilege to work with some amazing people that have suffered a spinal cord injury, some of which have become very good friends. Spinal injuries are life changing and I... well... we all take for granted the little things, like holding a cup of tea, or doing up a button on shirt, let alone the more severe cases such as becoming a para / tetraplegic.
Rob and I are running the VLM next year to help support the research that goes on to improve these peoples lives.
There will be event happening over the coming months but we'd be so grateful for your support in the meantime.
