Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This challenge is really tough for myself and my husband as derrick has muscular dystrophy, so he can’t process lactic acid meaning he could become paralysed,  and I have COPD. We both have full support of GP and specialists.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers is a charity close to my heart. I have family members and friends who were/ are in the forces and it’s so important that we support all members and their families. As a parent myself, I would hate for my son to lose any of his family members. The children that are part of Scotty’s are in that exact situation. They have lost a parent on the front line and without Scotty’s, they have no support. This simply isn’t good enough. Scotty’s needs (& deserves) all the help they can get to continue to support these families and children.

There is a lucky dip being run on the day (2nd April) at the Westgate leisure centre in Chichester
