SASG (Society of Anime, Socialising and Gaming) has be an active society within Anglia Ruskin University for the past 10 Years.

Originally we were known as ARAMS (Anglia Ruskin Anime and Manga Society), our name was later changed to SAS (Society of Anime and Socialising) and finally in 2015 we became SASG.

Special Effects is the charity that SASG has supported previously and we plan to continue to support them in the future.

We decided to support Special Effects because as a society that specialises in gaming many of us understand the joy that gaming has brought into our lives and games have helped us to socialise and make friends. We want all children to have the opportunity to play games, regardless of physical and mental disabilities.

Therefore we are hosting a 24 hour gaming marathon, where we will be doing number of live streams via Twitch and we would really appreciate it if you could support us through donations, which will make life changing technology more accessible to children.

Current Committee:

President: Robin Agyei

Vice President: Rohan Advani

Administration: Hannah Chan

Treasurer: Onella Khan (Myself)

Head of Gaming: Ian Farnell

Head of Alternate Gaming: George Dolby

Equipment Manager: Glyn Moore

Associate Committee Members: Mohammed Al-Amin and Lydia Bell

We thank you in advance for your generosity and hope you enjoy our live streams.

Onella (SASG Treasurer)
