Story

I can't believe I'm saying this again but... I'M RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON 2017 FOR HAVENS HOSPICES!

This will be my 2nd time to run for Havens Hospices which I'm truly grateful for, as most of you probably know it's a charity very very close to my heart & my family's.

Firstly I'd just like to thank everybody who donated & helped me raise as much I did last year for Havens Hospices I can't believe how much I managed to raise in the end I really appreciate it.

Last year, thanks to all you lovely people that donated to my cousin (Charlotte Oliver) and myself.  We raised over £14000 & ran in memory of my mum (Mel Galbraith) who passed away in September 2014 but spent her last months in Havens battling again Lung Cancer.

This year, not only will I be running again in memory of my mum but also in memory of my grandad (Peter Cobb) who passed away in July 2015 after having Parkinson's. He was such a warm hearted character that struggled with day to day life but was always positive in everything he done. He would be so extremely proud that I'm running for him this year. Every time I used to go see him he'd say to me "Happy days" so I'm hoping to make the endurance of this 26.2 mile run a 'happy day'.

I am so happy to have the pleasure of running the Virgin Money London Marathon 2017 for Havens Hospices.

Thank you so much for taking time to visit my page. Please sponsor me as it all goes to such a fantastic & helpful charity!

Roll on 23rd of April 2016! Let's smash a PB! #TeamHavens2017
