Welsh rugby legend Gareth ‘Alfie’ Thomas is taking on a huge challenge for Sport Relief. Gareth may be brave in every field of life - including the rugby one - but there is one thing that really terrifies him - heights. So Gareth will skydive from 12,000 feet above the Welsh countryside, and he won’t be doing it alone. He will be joined by a team of people aged over 60, who have also never skydived before. 

I, as a sufferer of mental health for too many years, want to show that such people will experience better times and can feel up to such a challenge too.

The challenge should, weather permitting, take place after 08:00 on Friday 9th March 2018.
